INSTALLATION
A) The substrate must be dry, stable and solid. Before laying LUCE DI CARRARA, assure that the screed is sufficiently set or use quick drying screeds such as Mapecem or Topcem Mapei or other similar products.
B) When laying the marble only use high-quality quick drying mortars which ensure a perfect adhesion in time; we recommend Graniprapid Bianco Mapei or similar products.
C) For grouting is recommend the use of Keracolor FF Mapei or similar products.

NO STAINING
Marble is a strong, completely natural material and IS capable of resisting the ravages of time over the centuries. However, to protect surfaces from wear and damage caused by everyday use, LUCE DI CARRARA is treated during the manufacturing process with an innovative and patented anti-stain treatment/sealer.  We also recommend a second coat after installation and grouting for additional protection and in order to seal the grout.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
LUCE DI CARRARA, as all natural stones with a high calcium carbonate content, is acid-sensitive but can be easily maintained simply by using water and neutral cleaning products when washing and cleaning. It is recommended to re-seal the marble periodically, depending on usage and maintenance.
