Lacquers are considered artistic high valued handmade articles from more than 25 centuries, precious human touch expressions coming from countless steps of manual applications whose outstanding charm still survives today. From the Rhus Vernicifera tree is extracted a milky juice that gives consistence to the famous oriental lacquers, a supremely beautiful paint, dense and glossy.
The Rhus collection is available in four colors, whose names are a
tribute to the far east imperial dynasties, and in four modular rectified
sizes. Patterns and decors take their sense from typical oriental
motifs of the "formelle" and Chinese ancient decorative panels.
Rhus is a concept, as wall-use, that suits all the public and
residential area surfaces. Considering the value and the mixture of
glazes, the tiles may be used on floors mainly in bathrooms and bedrooms; if
laid in living rooms or main areas, an extra care is recommended protecting
it with doormats and rugs near door entrances. Ground floor and high
traffic areas should be avoided. In order to obtain a perfect
aesthetic result, we suggest not to lay material in a brick pattern (or max.
5-7 cm).
